Chinese automaker Chery has opened pre-sales for the all-new QQ3 electric city car, aiming to strengthen its position in China’s competitive small electric vehicle segment.
The company introduced four variants of the model, with pre-sale prices set at 68,920 yuan ($10,020), 78,920 yuan, 78,985 yuan, and 89,985 yuan, according to the launch announcement on Tuesday.

The model received strong initial interest from consumers. Li Xueyong said the new vehicle recorded 21,957 pre-sale orders within two hours of the launch.
The compact electric car measures 4,195 mm in length, 1,811 mm in width and 1,573 mm in height, with a 2,700 mm wheelbase, positioning it in the entry-level electric vehicle segment.
Inside, the vehicle features an intelligent cockpit designed around a 15.6-inch central touchscreen with 2.5K resolution, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. The system includes an AI assistant called Carmind, designed to handle voice commands in more complex driving scenarios.

The QQ3 is also equipped with Chery’s Falcon 500 advanced driver assistance system, which supports automated parking in more than 100 scenarios and includes a navigate-on-autopilot function for urban and highway driving.
The vehicle uses a rear-mounted motor with rear-wheel drive and offers two power configurations delivering 58 kW and 90 kW, respectively.
Battery options include 29.48 kWh and 41.28 kWh packs, providing CLTC ranges of 310 km and 420 km. Using fast charging, the battery can be replenished from 30% to 80% in about 16.5 minutes, according to the company.

The car also supports vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality with 3.3 kW and 6.6 kW external discharge, allowing it to power devices during outdoor activities.
The launch comes as Chinese automakers intensify competition in the small EV segment, where manufacturers are adding more advanced technology features to attract buyers seeking affordable electric mobility.
