Leapmotor delivered a record 70,327 vehicles in November, extending its run of monthly highs to seven consecutive months as the Stellantis-backed Chinese electric vehicle maker continues a rapid expansion driven by new model launches and overseas market entry.
The November performance marked a 75.08% increase from a year earlier and a slight 0.05% rise from October’s previous record of 70,289 vehicles. From January through November, Leapmotor delivered 536,132 vehicles, representing year-on-year growth of 113.42%, according to company data.

The automaker said last month that it had already surpassed 500,000 deliveries for the year, reaching its original 2025 target ahead of schedule. The company initially guided for full-year deliveries of between 500,000 and 600,000 units, before lifting its outlook to a range of 580,000 to 650,000 units in August after stronger-than-expected first-half sales. Management has also outlined longer-term ambitions, stating that “Leapmotor would challenge an annual sales volume of one million units in 2026.”
Leapmotor’s growth has been supported by an accelerated product cycle. Its latest launch, the Lafa 5 electric hatchback, went on sale on Nov. 27 with a starting price of RMB 92,800 ($13,120). The model enters one of China’s most competitive compact EV segments, facing rivals including the Volkswagen ID.3, SAIC MG4, BYD Dolphin and Nio Firefly. Earlier in November, the company debuted the A10 compact electric SUV at the Guangzhou auto show, offering a range of 500 km with pricing expected below RMB 100,000. In October, Leapmotor also unveiled its flagship D19 SUV, with the extended-range version featuring an 80-kWh battery pack.

The company’s current China lineup spans the T03, B10, B01, C01, C10, C11, C16 and Lafa 5. Several models are offered in both battery-electric and extended-range electric variants, reflecting its dual-technology strategy to broaden market coverage.
Improving scale has also translated into stronger financial performance. Leapmotor reported net income of RMB 150 million in the July–September quarter, reversing a RMB 690 million loss a year earlier. The result followed a profitable second quarter, when the company posted net income of RMB 160 million, marking its second consecutive quarter in the black after briefly returning to losses at the start of the year.
Internationally, Leapmotor has continued to extend its footprint. Last month, the company entered the South American market with the launch of the C10 SUV in both battery-electric and extended-range versions, along with the all-electric B10 SUV, in Brazil and Chile.
