Stelato, the electric vehicle brand jointly developed by Huawei and Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC Group), has started pre-sales of its S9T station wagon, set to compete with Nio’s ET5 Touring.
The S9T, Stelato’s second model after the S9 sedan, is priced from 328,000 yuan ($45,660), higher than the ET5 Touring’s starting price of 298,000 yuan. Like the S9, it will be available in both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variants.

The BEV version uses a 100-kWh Huawei Giant Whale battery, offering up to 801 km of range, while the EREV version features Huawei’s Xuexiao range-extension system, with 354 km of battery range and a combined range of 1,305 km when fully charged and fueled, according to Stelato.
Inside, the S9T includes more than 10 screens, Huawei’s intelligent projection system 2.0, and the company’s ADS 4 advanced driving system. The vehicle incorporates 192-channel LiDAR, three solid-state LiDAR sensors, and five 4D millimeter-wave radars. ADS 4, released in April, is available in four capability levels.

The S9T will officially launch in September, Stelato said on July 31. Customers placing a 2,000-yuan deposit will receive a 5,000-yuan discount on the final price and priority delivery.
Stelato is one of five brands under Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), alongside Aito, Luxeed, Maextro and Shangjie. The brand’s first model, the S9 sedan, launched on August 6, 2024, with a starting price of 309,800 yuan.
