Xpeng delivered 36,717 vehicles in July, setting a new monthly record for the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer.
The figure reflects a 229.45% increase from a year earlier and a 6.08% rise from June’s total of 34,611 units, continuing a trend of steady monthly growth.

The company has now posted monthly deliveries above 30,000 units for nine consecutive months since November 2024. In the first seven months of the year, Xpeng delivered a total of 233,906 vehicles, up 270.26% compared to the same period last year, highlighting the brand’s growing momentum in the competitive EV market.
As part of its international strategy, Xpeng has expanded into 46 countries and regions. The company recently began localized production in Indonesia, where it delivered its first domestically assembled X9 multi-purpose vehicle (MPV). The move marks a significant step in Xpeng’s efforts to build a localized presence in key overseas markets.

Looking ahead, Xpeng is preparing to launch its updated P7 electric sedan in Beijing on August 6. The new model, internally designated as E29, represents a major revision of the original P7 released in 2020.
Scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2024, the next-generation P7 is expected to target the premium EV segment with a projected price of around RMB 300,000 ($41,820).
