Zero Motorcycles has started customer deliveries of its new X Line electric motorcycles, following the launch of production last month. The first shipments include the Zero XE and Zero XB, models aimed at making the company’s off-road and adventure EVs more affordable and accessible.
Unveiled late last year, the X Line was developed with Chinese partner Zongshen and designed as a new platform for trail and adventure riding. The street-legal-in-Europe models are intended for off-road use in the United States and feature lightweight frames, swappable battery packs and performance suited for off-road terrain.
The Zero XB starts at $4,395 in the U.S., while the larger Zero XE is priced from $6,495 — the lowest price points in the company’s lineup to date. Zero, which has traditionally targeted premium buyers with motorcycles in the five-figure range, sees the X Line as a way to reach younger and off-road-focused riders.
Deliveries will continue over the coming months, with new reservations placed from this week expected to arrive in the fall of 2025. The move marks a significant expansion of Zero’s product strategy beyond urban commuters and high-performance street bikes.
