Chinese automaker Geely Holding Group’s premium electric vehicle (EV) subsidiary, Zeekr, reported the delivery of 12,537 vehicles in January. While this figure represents a 7 percent decline from December, Zeekr outperformed its major peers, considering seasonal factors.
According to recently released data, Zeekr’s January deliveries increased by an impressive 302.34 percent compared to the same period last year. However, the month-on-month decrease was reported at 6.97 percent.

For the entirety of 2023, Zeekr achieved the delivery of 118,685 vehicles, marking a substantial 64.98 percent year-on-year increase. Zeekr, established as an independent company in March 2021, introduced its first model, the Zeekr 001, in April 2021, with deliveries commencing in October 2021.
China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) included Zeekr’s new model, the Zeekr 001, in the latest catalog of models allowed for public sale, as announced on January 15. The company, however, has not disclosed the availability date for the facelifted Zeekr 001.
Zeekr’s current lineup comprises the Zeekr 009 MPV, the compact SUV Zeekr X, and the Zeekr 007 sedan. The Zeekr 007, aimed at the mainstream EV market, went on sale on December 27 and initiated deliveries on January 1.
In April 2023, Zeekr launched the Zeekr X, followed by the introduction of the 2024 model of the SUV on January 10. Additionally, on January 15, Zeekr unveiled the 2024 Zeekr 009 MPV, featuring a slight starting price increase and enhanced features. The MPV, initially launched on November 1, 2022, represents Zeekr’s second model after the Zeekr 001, with deliveries starting in February 2023.
