Geely’s electric vehicle (EV) subsidiary, Zeekr, has reduced the price of its Zeekr X model in European launch markets, albeit not as significantly as some Chinese competitors, as it seeks to entice new European customers with a special promotion until the end of April.

Zeekr is currently available in the Netherlands and Sweden, with previously anticipated deliveries in Germany for the beginning of 2024 yet to commence. Under pressure from competitors’ declining prices, the Geely subsidiary has adjusted the price of the Zeekr X in its European debut markets.

In the Netherlands, the base price for the model has been lowered from 44,990 euros to 42,490 euros, and in Sweden, prices have been adjusted from 550,000 to 529,000 crowns (equivalent to approximately 48,800 to 46,900 euros). However, there has been no mention of price reductions for the German market.

Additionally, Zeekr has announced a promotion named ’10+10+10′ for new European customers until the end of April, offering a ten-year warranty, free service, and full connectivity. This sales initiative aligns with Zeekr’s ambition to expand its presence to most countries in Western Europe by 2026.

With subsidies decreasing in various countries, many manufacturers are lowering their prices, albeit typically through temporary discount campaigns. Notably, Tesla and BYD have permanently reduced their list prices, with BYD launching an additional discount campaign and Great Wall recently following suit, both offering substantial discounts.
