Xpeng has announced the availability of its XNGP (Xpeng navigation guided pilot) feature on all roads across China, following the expansion of its Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) to more than 200 cities earlier last month.
In a recent Weibo post, Xpeng stated, “Unlimited XNGP, available all over the country, on any road,” marking a significant milestone in its smart driving technology.

The XNGP feature, similar to Tesla’s FSD (Full Self-Driving), aims to provide driver assistance in all scenarios, including highways, city roads, internal campus roads, and parking lots.
Initially available only on highways as Highway NGP, Xpeng gradually extended coverage to urban areas, known as City NGP. The feature’s expansion to all roads in China signifies a major step forward in Xpeng’s autonomous driving capabilities.
The company has already made the feature available to select users with a smart driving experience and plans to roll it out to more users in the near future.

Xpeng’s chairman and CEO, He Xiaopeng, announced in January that the company will launch point-to-point XNGP capabilities in China in 2024, further expanding coverage to internal roads and parking lot scenarios in addition to highways and city roads.
Looking ahead, Xpeng aims to drive the global development of XNGP, with plans to introduce globally available highway NGP in 2024 and globally available XNGP in 2025.
