Xpeng has launched the updated 2026 model year P7+ liftback in China, pricing the car from 186,800 yuan ($26,700) as the electric vehicle maker positions the model as a global offering set to enter overseas markets, including Europe.

The refreshed P7+ introduces both battery-electric and extended-range electric variants. Xpeng said the EREV version delivers up to 1,550 km of combined driving range under China’s CLTC testing standard, while offering up to 430 km of pure electric range. The company described the new P7+ as featuring 104 upgrades compared with the outgoing model.

The 2026 P7+ adopts a subtly revised exterior design, including a single LED daytime running light strip at the front and added chrome trim. Slightly reshaped bumpers make the car 15 mm longer, bringing overall dimensions to 5,071 mm in length, 1,937 mm in width and 1,512 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. The liftback rides on 20-inch wheels.

Inside, the P7+ features hidden air vents, an electrically operated glove box, a faux-suede wireless charging pad and a microfiber-covered ceiling. The cabin also includes 256-color ambient lighting, wooden trim with chrome accents, an 8.8-inch instrument display and a 29-inch augmented-reality head-up display. Xpeng said the car is equipped with a 20-speaker sound system and upgraded seating.

Xpeng said the model supports 5C fast charging, allowing up to 277 km of driving range to be added in about five minutes under optimal conditions.

The fully electric P7+ is offered with two motor outputs — 180 kW and 230 kW — and battery options of 61.7 kWh or 74.9 kWh. Xpeng said the BEV variant delivers a maximum electric range of up to 725 km under CLTC conditions.
