Xiaomi EV, the electric vehicle unit of Chinese tech giant Xiaomi, marked its 200,000th vehicle delivery, underscoring rapid growth in the competitive EV market.
The milestone vehicle, a Xiaomi SU7 in a special red edition, was delivered to a young couple, the company announced on Weibo. Xiaomi EV took 229 days to deliver its first 100,000 vehicles, while the second 100,000 units were delivered in just 119 days.

Xiaomi officially launched the SU7 electric sedan on March 28, 2024, positioning it as a rival to Tesla’s Model 3. The SU7 comes in Standard, Pro, and Max variants, with prices starting at RMB 215,900 ($29,840). The high-performance SU7 Ultra, unveiled in February, offers 1,548 Ps of horsepower and starts at RMB 529,900.
Xiaomi reported over 248,000 locked-in orders for the SU7 in 2024, with cumulative deliveries surpassing 135,000 units. Monthly deliveries have exceeded 20,000 for five consecutive months, with total shipments now exceeding 180,000 as of March 1.
