Xiaomi Auto has partnered with NaaS Technology to integrate its extensive charging network with the Xiaomi Auto app, significantly expanding charging accessibility for Xiaomi’s growing base of electric vehicle (EV) customers. Through this collaboration, Xiaomi EV drivers will be able to use more than 100,000 charging hubs across China, enhancing convenience and charging efficiency.
NaaS Technology, a U.S.-listed company, operates one of China’s largest EV charging networks, having installed 1.15 million charging points—accounting for approximately 35% of the nation’s public charging infrastructure. This new partnership follows similar agreements NaaS has established with BYD sub-brands such as NETA, IM Motors, Hongqi, and FAW-Volkswagen. Now, Xiaomi customers will be able to access NaaS charging facilities through their vehicle’s built-in navigation system or the Xiaomi Auto app.

NaaS’ charging hubs support China’s Guobiao (GB/T) standard, accommodating both AC and DC fast charging. The company reported serving over 13 million transaction users in Q3 2024 and is continuing to expand its charging footprint.
“This strategic partnership with Xiaomi Auto marks another step forward in expanding NaaS’ charging network and enhancing user experience,” said Steven Sim, CFO of NaaS. “By combining NaaS’ AI-powered technology with Xiaomi, we aim to deliver seamless, efficient charging services that meet the needs of today’s NEV drivers.”

Xiaomi Auto has seen rapid growth since launching in 2024, with over 200,000 EVs registered since April. Following strong sales performance, the company recently raised its vehicle delivery target for 2025 from 300,000 to 350,000 units.
Beyond its agreement with NaaS, Xiaomi has actively sought partnerships to strengthen its EV charging network. In January, the automaker teamed up with Nio to provide Xiaomi drivers access to approximately 14,000 chargers across China. Similar deals were also secured with Li Auto, offering access to 6,000 chargers, and Xpeng, which operates more than 9,000 charging points.
