Wuling is preparing a new variant of its Binguo S electric vehicle, featuring a 52.9 kWh battery pack and a CLTC-rated range of 525 kilometres, according to a filing from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The model will compete with vehicles such as the MG4, also owned by SAIC. No official launch date has been disclosed.
The Binguo S is a compact EV with dimensions of 4,265 mm in length, 1,785 mm in width, 1,600 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,610 mm. Exterior styling includes a closed front grille, polygonal headlight clusters with “C”-shaped daytime running lights, and a full-width rear taillight strip.

Inside, the cabin features an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.8-inch floating touchscreen, a three-spoke steering wheel, a shift-by-wire gear lever, and a 50 W wireless charging pad. Interior color options include Soft White and Warm Brown.
Standard features include tyre-pressure monitoring, a reversing camera, cruise control, Bluetooth key, push-button start, and a six-speaker audio system. Higher trims add a panoramic camera system, electric driver’s seat adjustment, heated front seats, and electrically folding mirrors.

Previous Binguo S models are offered with 31.9 kWh and 41.9 kWh battery options, providing CLTC ranges of 325 km and 430 km respectively, and are powered by a front-mounted single electric motor rated at 75 kW and 180 Nm.
Both support DC fast charging from 30% to 80% in roughly 35 minutes and include safety features such as four airbags, electronic stability control, and hill-start assist. Current pricing ranges from 66,800 to 79,800 yuan (around 9,400 to 11,300 USD).
