Northern Irish bus manufacturer Wrightbus has introduced four new battery-electric vehicles under its newly launched Rightech brand. The lineup includes two trucks—a 7.5-tonne left-hand drive and a right-hand drive model—along with two battery-electric buses measuring 6 and 9 meters in length. These vehicles will be available in the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe.
The Rightech RT75 UK and RT75 Europe are 7.5-tonne battery-electric trucks powered by a 107 kWh battery pack from CATL, offering a driving range of up to 230 kilometers per charge.

Charging from 20% to 80% state of charge (SoC) takes 50 minutes using a DC charger with a capacity of up to 100 kW. An 11 kW AC charging option is also available. The trucks feature a liquid-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor with a peak output of 171 kW (180 kW for the European version) and a maximum torque of 1,050 Nm.
In the UK, the RT75 is available in two lengths—7 meters and 7.9 meters—while the European version is offered in three lengths—6 meters, 7 meters, and 7.8 meters. Both versions come with a three-year warranty (or 62,000 miles), while the battery warranty extends up to eight years (or 250,000 miles).

Rightech has also introduced two battery-electric buses for urban transport: the RB9 and RB6, named after their respective lengths. The RB9 features a 282 kWh LFP battery from CATL, providing a range of up to 300 kilometers. Fast charging at 150 kW allows it to recharge from 20% to 80% SoC in 1 hour and 24 minutes. It is equipped with a 245 kW peak power motor delivering a maximum torque of 3,300 Nm and accommodates up to 57 passengers, including 27 seated.
The smaller RB6 seats 12 passengers and can carry up to 22 people. It comes with an 89 kWh LFP battery, offering a range of approximately 196 kilometers. Charging from 20% to 80% SoC takes 37 minutes using a 150 kW DC fast charger. The bus is powered by a 135 kW peak permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum torque of 350 Nm.
