Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has launched the ID. Buzz LWB (long wheelbase) in the UK, expanding its electric vehicle offerings with enhanced features tailored for British consumers.
Priced starting at £59,545, the ID. Buzz LWB extends its wheelbase to 3,239 mm, accommodating up to seven seats and featuring wider sliding rear doors for improved passenger access.

Designed to meet diverse lifestyle needs, the ID. Buzz LWB offers a spacious interior with configurations providing up to 1,340 litres of luggage space in the five-seat layout, expandable to 2,469 litres with the rear seats folded. For seven-seat configurations, the vehicle provides 306 litres of cargo space behind the removable third-row seat.
Powering the ID. Buzz LWB is an 86 kWh battery pack paired with a 210 kW electric motor on the rear axle. This setup supports rapid charging up to 200 kW, allowing for a 10-80% charge in under 30 minutes. The model is available in two trims, Life and Style, offering WLTP ranges of 291 miles and 286 miles, respectively, catering to both urban commuting and long-distance travel needs.

Alongside the ID. Buzz LWB, Volkswagen has also revealed the specifications for the ID. Buzz GTX, targeting customers seeking enhanced performance and dynamic driving experiences. Available in standard and long wheelbase versions, the ID. Buzz GTX features dual motors with a combined output of 250 kW, achieving 0-62 mph acceleration in 6.1 seconds (NWB) and 6.5 seconds (LWB).
The ID. Buzz GTX sports a sporty design with distinctive elements such as a honeycomb grille, GTX branding, and exclusive 21-inch ‘Townsville’ alloy wheels. Exterior options include a new Cherry Red solid paint and Mono Silver metallic for a personalized aesthetic.
