Vanwall, the performance brand backed by Austria’s ByKOLLES Racing, has revealed the Vandervell H-GT, a heavily modified version of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N.

Featuring bespoke carbon-fiber bodywork and styling inspired by the classic Lancia Delta HF Integrale, the H-GT sheds more than 230 kilograms (over 500 pounds), significantly enhancing the car’s acceleration and overall performance.

While the vehicle retains the Ioniq 5 N’s dual-motor electric powertrain—delivering 641 horsepower with boost and 568 lb-ft of torque—the substantial reduction in curb weight makes the H-GT lighter and potentially quicker than Hyundai’s 3.0-second 0–60 mph benchmark. Vanwall positions the H-GT as a high-performance evolution of the Ioniq 5 N, leveraging motorsport technology to push the limits of the platform.

The H-GT was first presented as a concept in 2023, alongside renderings during ByKOLLES’ involvement in the World Endurance Championship.

The design’s aerodynamic profile and use of advanced lightweight materials reflect the racing team’s engineering approach, and several units have now been seen outside the studio environment.

The vehicle is currently listed at €128,000 ($145,400), with pricing appearing unchanged since its initial announcement.

That cost comes in addition to the Ioniq 5 N’s starting price of around $66,100, placing the H-GT in a niche market for high-end electric performance conversions.
