Toyota Launches bZ4X BEV for Japan domestic market on May 12

Automotive manufacturers continue to compete to provide an interesting experience for every consumer with the latest electric vehicles, such as Toyota which will soon launch the All-new bZ4X Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) in the Japanese domestic market on May 12.

Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) explained that the latest BZ4X has an efficiency level of 128 Wh/km with a cruising range of 559 km.

In Japan, the all-new bZ4X BEV is available to consumers on a rental basis (KINTO subscription service) to eliminate consumer anxiety regarding battery power.

Toyota started the first phase of the launch by opening orders for 3,000 units on May 12, while the second period orders will open at the end of the second half of 2022 for 2,000 units, bringing the total units available in Japan for this year to 5,000 cars.

Later, to accelerate sales, Toyota plans to install fast chargers at all dealerships in Japan by 2025, with the main target being cities with high demand for BEV cars.

After being introduced in Japan, Toyota will also launch the bZ4X, in North America, Europe, and China.
