oyota has further lowered the monthly lease price of its 2025 bZ4X electric SUV, reducing the cost by another $20 and making it cheaper to lease than a Corolla. The automaker announced that the bZ4X XLE trim is now available for as little as $179 per month on a 36-month contract, provided customers sign up before the end of September.

The company is offering the promotion through Toyota Financial Services, supported by a significant $12,750 lease subvention cash incentive. “The monthly cost is now $20 less expensive than the price reported here. However, customers must take advantage of the current promo before the end of September in the US,” Toyota stated. The deal requires a $3,999 down payment, but the carmaker is waiving the security deposit to lower upfront costs.

The revised lease offer is limited to select U.S. states, including Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York, with eligibility dependent on credit approval. Toyota is also allowing lessees to apply additional rebates, including a $500 discount for military personnel and recent college graduates, creating further savings opportunities.

By comparison, the 2025 Toyota Corolla LE — a popular gas-powered compact car — carries a lease price of $189 per month on a similar 36-month term with the same down payment. This means that the bZ4X, despite being larger, fully electric, and equipped with modern technology, is now the more affordable option to lease.

The 2025 bZ4X continues to offer competitive performance at this price point, producing 214 horsepower and delivering an EPA-estimated driving range of up to 252 miles per charge. Equipped with a 71.2 kWh battery, the vehicle supports fast charging that can bring the battery to 80 percent capacity in about 30 minutes, making it practical for daily commuting and longer trips alike.

Industry analysts suggest that Toyota’s aggressive lease pricing reflects its broader strategy to stimulate demand for the bZ4X amid heightened competition in the U.S. electric vehicle market. The reduced rate not only undercuts traditional combustion models like the Corolla but also makes the bZ4X one of the most competitively priced EV lease deals currently available in the country.
