Torqeedo is presenting an expanded range of electric propulsion products at Metstrade 2025 in Amsterdam, highlighting upgrades to its Cruise motors, a new entry-level Travel XS system, and advanced system components for the Deep Blue high-voltage platform. The company is exhibiting alongside parent Yamaha Motor from 18 to 20 November.

The latest Cruise 3.0 and 6.0 models feature a new 48-volt architecture that allows compatibility with Torqeedo’s larger 5 kWh batteries. A foldable tiller with a high-resolution display has been added to the lineup, offering Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity for users who want to monitor system data remotely via an app.

Torqeedo said the updated design also incorporates sustainability-focused manufacturing, with up to 95% of shaft head components produced from recycled ocean plastic.

Expanding its offerings for smaller boats, the company introduced the Travel XS, a 700-watt electric drive positioned as an accessible entry point into electric boating. It will be available as an option with the new 648 Wh Travel Battery XS in a Smart Package expected to launch in spring 2026.

Torqeedo also unveiled new Intelligent Control Unit (ICU) and Power Distribution Unit (PDU) modules for the Deep Blue series. Developed for 400V and 800V systems with outputs of up to 400 kW, the components use a plug-and-play design intended to simplify installation and support seamless system integration.

Visitors can view the full lineup from Torqeedo and Yamaha Motor in Hall 6, Booth 06.212/06.210 at the Amsterdam trade event.
