Tesla carried out a new software update (2022.16.0.2) for their electric vehicles with several important improvements. The highlight of the update is better navigation energy prediction.

This navigational energy prediction will take into account crosswind, headwind, humidity and ambient temperature forecasts to provide a more accurate range estimate.

In the latest update, Tesla Cars can automatically apply regular brakes for consistent deceleration when regenerative braking is limited due to battery temperature or charge status.

To activate, tap Controls > Pedals & Steering > Apply Brakes When Regenerative Braking Is Limited.

The latest update also allows for multiple media accounts such as Spotify. Car owners can have multiple Spotify accounts, each linked to a specific driver profile.
