Tesla has officially launched its Model 3 sedan and Model Y crossover in the Philippines, with both vehicles priced competitively against mainstream rivals in the country’s automotive market.
The announcement follows the opening of Tesla’s first Experience Center in the Philippines, located in the upscale Bonifacio Global City (BGC) area in Metro Manila. The event garnered significant attention, attracting both a large crowd and several notable officials.

The pricing for the Model 3 is positioned in the same range as traditional internal combustion engine vehicles, offering a more affordable alternative to premium brands.
The Model 3 Rear Wheel Drive is priced at Php 2,109,000 ($36,142), while the Model 3 Long Range All Wheel Drive (AWD) starts at Php 2,489,000 ($42,652). The top-tier Model 3 Performance variant is priced at Php 3,099,000 ($53,105) before options.
These prices place the Model 3 within reach of popular sedans like the Toyota Camry 2.5 V HEV, priced at Php 2,457,000 ($42,106), and significantly below the BMW 3-Series Sedan 318i Business, which is listed at Php 3,590,000 ($61,522).
Similarly, the Model Y crossover is priced to compete with popular models in the segment. The Model Y RWD starts at Php 2,369,000 ($40,596), while the Model Y Long Range AWD is priced at Php 2,689,000 ($46,080). The Model Y Performance variant is listed at Php 3,299,000 ($56,533).
This positions the Model Y competitively against crossovers like the Honda CR-V RS e, priced at Php 2,610,000 ($44,730), and the Toyota Rav4 Hybrid, which starts at Php 2,371,000 ($40,635). The Model Y is also more affordable than higher-end offerings like the Lexus RX 350h Executive, which starts at Php 5,268,000 ($90,292).
