Tesla was reported by consumers in Germany to be accused of selling faulty electric cars. According to consumers, the Tesla electric car body was cracked but the defect was covered with paint.
According to the Autoblog page today, Friday, July 22, 2022, the consumer took this case to court in Germany. The electric car model in question is the Tesla Model 3.
In German media reports, there were cracks in the underbody of Tesla cars which were discovered when customers changed tires. When the car was lifted using a jack, it was seen that there were cracks that Tesla allegedly tried to cover.
This is not the first case of Tesla’s electric car experiencing a quality control flaw. Previously there were cases of misaligned car trunk lids, doors that did not fit when closed, defective jack mounts, and mismatched paint colors.
The cause of the crack in the Tesla car body in Germany has not yet been determined. There is a possibility of cracks arising from the impact when the owner is driving it. The court is still investigating the cause of the crack in the Tesla Model 3 electric car body earlier.
If Tesla is found guilty, the US electric car manufacturer must return the full money for buying cars to consumers.
