Tesla has delayed the release of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) software version 14 to Monday after identifying a last-minute issue in the system, Chief Executive Elon Musk said on X (formerly Twitter).
The FSD v14 update was originally expected to see an “early wide release” last week, followed by subsequent rollouts of versions 14.1 and 14.2. However, Musk said a bug discovered shortly before deployment prompted the company’s Autopilot team to postpone the release.

According to Musk, the delay allows Tesla to include additional improvements in the update, though details on the new features were not disclosed.
He has previously described version 14 as one of the most significant advancements for Tesla’s AI and Autopilot division since the launch of FSD version 12.

Tesla’s FSD v14 reportedly features a parameter count ten times higher than previous versions, aiming to deliver greater precision and a more natural, human-like driving experience.
The company continues to refine the system to minimize driver interventions and move closer to its goal of fully autonomous driving.
