Polestar has opened order books in the United Kingdom for the updated Polestar 4, introducing chassis refinements, a revised trim lineup and lower lifecycle carbon emissions for the electric SUV coupe.
The updated model starts at £56,750 and is available in three configurations: Rear motor, Dual motor and Dual motor with the Performance pack.
Chassis Updated for Improved Driving Dynamics
The latest Polestar 4 receives a recalibrated chassis on both Rear motor and Dual motor variants.
The suspension now combines high-capacity passive dampers with revised spring and anti-roll bar settings, while polyurethane rebound stops replace the previous internal rebound coil springs.
Polestar said the changes improve steering precision, ride comfort and overall vehicle stability without compromising handling performance.
Lower Carbon Footprint
The company said the updated Polestar 4 now has the lowest cradle-to-gate carbon footprint of any vehicle in its lineup.
Rear motor models are rated at 19.4 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO₂e), while Dual motor variants have a footprint of 20.3 tCO₂e, representing a reduction of 1.1 tCO₂e compared with the model launched previously.
Performance and New Trim Levels
The all-wheel-drive Dual motor version continues to be the fastest SUV in Polestar’s range, accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in 3.8 seconds.
For the new model year, Polestar has introduced a revised three-tier model structure consisting of Rear motor, Dual motor and Dual motor with the Performance pack.
Business and Prime trim levels are available on both Rear motor and Dual motor models.
Business trim includes Pilot Assist, Lane Change Assist, Park Assist Pilot and rear privacy glass.
Prime trim adds features including a Harman Kardon audio system, head-up display, illuminated interior panels, heated and reclining rear seats, three-zone climate control, Pixel LED headlights and a power-operated tailgate.
UK Pricing Begins at £56,750
The updated Polestar 4 is available to order in the UK with prices ranging from £56,750 for the Rear motor Business model to £71,250 for the Dual motor Performance Prime version.
Chief Executive Officer Michael Lohscheller said the latest updates enhance both the driving experience and the vehicle’s environmental performance.
“The upgraded Polestar 4 coupé is better than ever, offering a more refined ride with enhanced driving pleasure, and stronger sustainability credentials.”
He added:
“Overall, the Polestar 4 coupé delivers an even more compelling package without compromise.”
Polestar said the latest updates are intended to further refine the driving characteristics of the Polestar 4 while reducing its environmental impact and expanding customer choice through the revised trim structure.
