Tesla has made a series of quiet adjustments to its vehicle lineup and pricing in South Korea, streamlining available variants while lowering prices across several models, according to updates on the company’s local website.
The changes include a reduction in Model 3 offerings, with the U.S. automaker now selling only the Performance version of the sedan in the South Korean market. The previously available Rear-Wheel Drive and Long Range variants have been removed from the configurator, leaving the higher-performance model as the sole option for buyers.

Alongside the lineup change, Tesla introduced a new exterior color, Marine Blue, for the Korean market. The company also reduced the price of the Model 3 Performance by roughly 8.9 million won, bringing it closer to the previous price point of the Long Range variant and effectively repositioning the performance model as the new mid-range option.
Tesla also updated its Model Y lineup, adding two new variants: the Model Y Premium RWD and the Model Y Premium Long Range AWD. Prices for the Model Y were cut by about 3 million won, making the crossover more competitive in a market that has seen intensifying competition from both domestic and foreign electric vehicle brands.

The changes give consumers a narrower but more price-adjusted selection. Buyers seeking higher performance now have access to a more affordable Model 3 Performance, while those looking for greater practicality can choose from a broader range of Model Y configurations.
Tesla has not commented on whether the current lineup structure is temporary or part of a longer-term strategy. Industry observers note that the automaker has frequently adjusted regional offerings in response to demand, incentives, and competitive pressures, suggesting additional changes could follow.
