Canadian electric snowmobile and jet ski manufacturer Taiga Motors has partnered with Aqua SuperPower, a fast-charging network for electric boats, to provide extended charging solutions for its customers, including home, onboard, and fleet operations.
Taiga Motors, known for its fully electric snowmobiles and the Orca Performance electric jet ski, said the partnership would support high-volume use cases where charging infrastructure is critical. The Orca jet ski reaches speeds up to 100 kph and can operate for up to two hours on a single charge using a 120 kW system.
“Scalable infrastructure is key to unlocking the full potential of electrification,” said Sam Bruneau, CEO of Taiga Motors. “With Aqua SuperPower’s expertise, we’re making it easy for individuals and fleets to go electric—especially in high-volume use cases where the sustainability impact is multiplied.”
Aqua SuperPower operates its own charging network on water and installs customized charging solutions ranging from low-power AC chargers to fast chargers up to 250 kW, tailored for specific locations, applications, and vehicle types. The company will again collaborate with Finnish charging infrastructure manufacturer Kempower to supply the hardware.
The partnership is aimed at creating economies of scale by combining Taiga’s growing demand for electric watercraft charging with Aqua SuperPower’s infrastructure and software capabilities, facilitating wider adoption of electric boats and recreational vehicles.
