The first Stellantis brand electric vehicle destined for the US market, the Fiat 500e, has started production and is set to arrive in the country by the end of March after quickly selling out its initial dealer allocation.
“We’re thrilled that the Fiat 500e has officially begun its journey to reach customers in North America,” said the Fiat CEO and CMO at Stellantis.
The Fiat 500e has already proven to be a success in Europe, where it is the best-selling electric city car, particularly in countries like Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, and France. Since its launch, the 500e has sold over 185,000 units globally and is now poised to make a splash in North America.

Stellantis unveiled its first EV for the US at the LA Auto Show last year, and the new 2024 Fiat 500e for North America made its official debut in December.
The Fiat 500e RED is the first drop for the 2024 model year. Powered by a 42 kWh battery, the all-electric city car boasts an estimated range of up to 149 miles.
The Fiat 500e RED edition features red-painted mirrors, LED headlamps, and a front grille, all riding on 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. With 85 kW fast charging, the EV can gain 31 miles of range in just five minutes or reach 80% charge in 35 minutes. The vehicle comes in three colors: tuxedo black, glacier white, and Red.

Inside, the Fiat 500e offers a red dashboard, a 10.25-inch center screen with Uconnect, a 7-inch digital cluster, and additional storage.
Weighing just over 3,000 lbs, the Fiat 500e is the lightest passenger EV in its segment and one of the most affordable, starting at $32,500 (excluding a $1,595 destination fee). Stellantis noted that the EV is well-positioned to take advantage of government tax rebates in participating states.
Every purchase of a Fiat 500e comes with a level 2 charger or charging credits through Free2move Charge, a Stellantis-owned charging and energy business.
