Savic Motorcycles, an Australian startup, has been working tirelessly to bring its C-Series electric motorcycle from the drawing board to the showroom floor. The company first showcased its prototype in 2018 and has since been refining its design while pursuing investment partners to bring the C-Series to life.
In October 2021, Savic secured a grant from Australia’s Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre, which invests in Australian businesses, to move the C-Series into production. Now, with the company aiming to deliver over 250 units to pre-order customers, it has partnered with Equitise to launch an equity crowdfunding campaign.
Equity crowdfunding is a practice that allows fans and customers to purchase shares in a company, which aids in achieving the brand’s future goals. For Savic, this includes increasing production capacity, decreasing manufacturing costs, developing new products, and establishing distribution in key international markets such as New Zealand, Europe, and the United Kingdom.

Savic’s proprietary powertrain design, modular motorcycle architecture, cloud-connected vehicle and mobile technology, and integrated smartphone app, are considered the company’s competitive advantage. With its experience and track record, Savic is confident that it is well-positioned to disrupt the electric motorcycle market.
In March 2022, Savic announced new colors, a clothing line, and a refreshed website just before accepting the Victorian Premier’s Design Award for the C-Series. Now, with the new crowdfunding effort, founder Dennis Savic hopes to secure the brand’s future.
Investors interested in supporting Savic’s mission can register their interest at the dedicated Equitise webpage. Despite the challenges involved in bringing an electric motorcycle from the drawing board to the showroom, with the help of its supporters, Savic aims to finally launch the C-Series in the near future.
