The modular nature of Volvo Penta’s IPS system allows for a seamless integration process, offering yacht makers the ability to swiftly transition to electrified propulsion without the need for extensive hull redesign.

Engineered for demanding marine applications in vessels ranging from 25 to 55+ meters, with speeds ranging from 12 to 40 knots, Volvo Penta’s IPS platform boasts features such as intelligent engine management, which optimizes power usage by starting and stopping individual engines as needed. This not only enhances operational efficiency but also extends service intervals and maximizes the cruising range in electric mode.
