Spanish company QEV Technologies has placed an order for 200 special edition Logistar 450P electric vans from the American manufacturer Cenntro, marking the first European order for the electric vehicle.

The Logistar 450P is the latest variation of Cenntro’s Logistar LS450 series, and the company believes its introduction to Europe could have a transformative impact, particularly for short-distance shuttle services and public transportation.

The special edition model was developed in collaboration with QEV Technologies. Cenntro plans to deliver the first 47 units of the LS450P in the first quarter of 2025, though it has not specified when the remaining vans will arrive in Spain. The total investment made by QEV in the electric vans has not been disclosed, but the company has already made a 30 percent deposit on the initial 47 vehicles.

Peter Wang, Chairman and CEO of Cenntro, commented on the significance of the partnership, stating, “The LS450P represents an exciting milestone in Cenntro’s mission to provide innovative, sustainable transportation solutions. We are thrilled to collaborate with QEV Technologies on this project and to bring a versatile, eco-friendly solution to European markets.”

Cenntro, which has been expanding its footprint in Europe since 2022 with the acquisition of a majority stake in Tropos Motors Europe, continues to focus on providing light electric vehicles in the L7e class. The company’s commitment to eco-friendly and innovative transportation solutions in the European market is further solidified with this new venture.
