Porsche has officially introduced the Taycan Turbo GT, the latest addition to its electric vehicle lineup, at the Laguna Seca raceway in Monterey, California. This unveiling comes after the Taycan prototype set a new electric production-car lap record at the NĆ¼rburgring earlier this year.
The Taycan Turbo GT boasts impressive performance figures, with a power output of up to 1,092 hp (815 kW / 1,108 PS). This is made possible by a series of aerodynamic and chassis upgrades, in line with Porsche’s GT-branded models. The optional Weissach package further enhances the car’s performance by reducing weight and transforming it into a two-seater track-focused powerhouse.

The dual-motor powertrain in the Taycan Turbo GT has been upgraded, with a new rear electric motor controlled by a more powerful and efficient pulse inverter.
This, combined with enhancements to the transmission ratio and gearbox durability, results in a combined output of 777 hp (580 kW / 789 PS), which can be temporarily boosted to 1,019 hp (760 kW / 1,033 PS) with launch control, and peaks at 1,092 hp (815 kW / 1,108 PS) for two seconds.

The Taycan Turbo GT accelerates from 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 2.2 seconds, or 2.1 seconds with the Weissach package. It reaches 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) in 6.6 seconds or 6.4 seconds with the Weissach package, and has a top speed of 190 mph (306 km/h).
One of the highlights of the Taycan Turbo GT is the Attack Mode, which unlocks an extra 160 hp (120 kW / 163 PS) of power for 10 seconds, inspired by Formula E racers. This feature, combined with the standard “push-to-pass” function, enhances the car’s performance on the track.

Visually, the Taycan Turbo GT features a redesigned body kit with an adaptive rear spoiler, a prominent splitter with integrated aeroblades, and a rear diffuser. The model is offered in six colors, including new options like Pale Blue Metallic and Purple Sky Metallic. The interior is equipped with Race-Tex and black leather upholstery, with optional contrasting tones and stitching.
The Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach package holds the title of the fastest electric series-production car at the Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca, with a lap time of 1:27.87. Deliveries are expected to begin in summer 2024, with pricing starting at $230,000 before tax, making it the most expensive Taycan variant to date.
