Orange EV has delivered its 2,000th electric terminal truck to Coke Canada Bottling, marking a production milestone as the manufacturer continues expanding the adoption of zero-emission yard vehicles across North America.

The delivery will add to Coke Canada Bottling’s electric terminal truck fleet operating at facilities in British Columbia and Quebec. The milestone also coincides with Orange EV receiving Coke Canada Bottling’s 2025 Supplier Partner Award.

Milestone Delivery Expands Electric Fleet

The latest deployment supports Coke Canada Bottling’s efforts to reduce emissions from its yard operations while improving logistics efficiency.

The family-owned beverage manufacturer is one of Canada’s largest bottlers and distributors and has continued investing in electric equipment as part of its fleet modernization strategy.

“As a family-owned, generational business, we are proud to continue growing our electric fleet and advancing opportunities to reduce our carbon emissions while managing our environmental footprint,” said Tony Chow, President of Coke Canada Bottling.

“We are pleased to partner with Orange EV and congratulate their team as they achieve this exciting milestone.”

Fleet Surpasses 12 Million Operating Hours

Orange EV said its fleet of electric terminal trucks has now accumulated more than 12 million key-on operating hours and over 33 million miles across more than 370 fleets.

The vehicles operate in more than 41 U.S. states, four Canadian provinces and the Caribbean.

According to the company, the fleet maintains an average uptime rate of approximately 97%, supporting distribution centers, ports, logistics hubs and intermodal facilities.

Growing Adoption of Electric Yard Trucks

Orange EV said its electric terminal trucks are designed to reduce diesel fuel consumption, lower maintenance requirements and improve operational reliability in heavy-duty logistics environments.

The company estimates each electric terminal truck eliminates between 80 and 90 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually compared with a conventional diesel-powered yard truck.

Its product lineup includes the e-TRIEVER platform for warehouse and distribution operations and the HUSK-e model for ports and other high-capacity applications.

Industry Moves Toward Fleet Electrification

Co-Founder, President and Chief Technology Officer Kurt Neutgens said the milestone reflects broader acceptance of electric yard vehicles across the logistics industry.

“Delivering our 2,000th truck is more than a production milestone, it reflects a broader industry tipping point.”

He added:

“Having done calculations under real-world conditions and duty cycles, fleet operators are no longer asking whether electric yard trucks can do the job. They are now asking how quickly they can standardize around Orange EV solutions to improve their uptime, predictability, and total cost of ownership.”

Orange EV said the milestone highlights increasing adoption of electric terminal trucks as fleet operators seek to improve efficiency while reducing emissions across freight and distribution operations.
