Olympian Motors O1 comes with a classic design, but uses an electric powertrain

Olympian Motors, a startup company, wants to try its luck in a field full of well-known brands by launching a classic electric car.

As reported by the official website of Olympian Motors, through the O1 model, Olympian Motors wants to offer electric vehicle products with the most advanced technology, but still maintain a classic and retro design.

This can be proven by the overall flat appearance, followed by a very retro skewer rim, followed by a very minimalist dashboard layout without the presence of a screen display like modern cars in general today.

All that’s left is a meter cluster with a very basic and classic design behind a fairly minimalist steering wheel.

Olympian Motors O1 is equipped with a rear-wheel drive electric motor with a maximum speed of 257 km/h, while the 82 kWh battery pack allows an operating range of 490 km on a single full charge.

According to Olympian Motors, they have purposely omitted 80 percent of the typical number of toggle buttons available in modern car cabins, where they prefer voice command-based controls.

The selling price for an O1 starts at USD 100,000 and Olympian Motors has started to open orders with a USD 500 deposit.
