Nissan’s NissanConnect services enable electric vehicle owners to remotely manage cabin climate settings and monitor key vehicle data, expanding connected features across the company’s electric lineup that includes the Ariya, Leaf, Micra and Townstar van.
The smartphone-based NissanConnect system allows drivers to preheat or cool the cabin before entering the vehicle, addressing comfort and visibility issues during extreme weather. The service also provides access to vehicle location, battery state of charge and charging history, supporting day-to-day EV use and trip planning, Nissan said.

Beyond remote access, NissanConnect integrates in-vehicle connectivity features such as hands-free calling, music streaming and navigation support. Voice control functionality allows drivers to operate selected functions without taking their hands off the wheel, while Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come as standard across Nissan’s electric range.
The services are available on models including the Nissan Ariya, the all-new Nissan Leaf, the all-electric Nissan Micra, and the Nissan Townstar. Nissan said the Micra represents the sixth generation of the model line, while the Leaf continues its transition toward a third generation.
