Nissan is set to launch two new versions of its Ariya electric model in Europe. The Ariya was introduced in July 2020 and has since received positive reviews for its sleek design and impressive range.
The first of the two new versions is the Ariya Engage, which is a more affordable trim aimed at making the Ariya eligible for subsidies in some European countries. The Engage comes in a front-wheel-drive configuration and is available in both 63 and 87 kWh battery sizes. The smaller battery version has a range of 404 kilometers, while the 87 kWh battery version can travel up to 536 kilometers on a single charge. The pricing for this new variant will be announced on April 3, when it will be available to order in most European markets.
Nissan’s second new variant, the Ariya Evolve+, is a top-of-the-line all-wheel-drive model with more power and faster acceleration. With 290 kW of power, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just 5.1 seconds. The Evolve+ features 20-inch alloy wheels with aero covers and a luxurious Nappa Blue leather seat trim.

The launch of these two new versions of the Ariya is part of Nissan’s plan to expand its electric vehicle lineup in Europe. The company has set a goal of electrifying all new Nissan vehicles in Europe by the early 2030s. With the Ariya Engage and Evolve+, Nissan is offering customers more options to fit their lifestyle and needs while also making electric vehicles more accessible and affordable.
