Nio reported record monthly and quarterly deliveries on Wednesday, with September 2025 sales reaching 34,749 vehicles, up 64.1% from the same month last year.
Deliveries in September included 13,728 vehicles from Nio’s premium smart EV brand, 15,246 units from its family-oriented ONVO line, and 5,775 vehicles from its compact premium Firefly brand. Firefly has delivered 20,000 vehicles since its launch in April, doubling its total in just over two months after reaching 10,000 units in late July.

For the third quarter, Nio delivered 87,071 vehicles, a 40.8% increase year-on-year and a quarterly record. Total deliveries for the first nine months of 2025 reached 872,785 vehicles.
The company’s growth was supported by the launch of its third-generation ES8 sport utility vehicle (SUV) in September, the latest iteration of its first mass-produced model, featuring reduced pricing and upgraded specifications.

Nio also introduced the ET9 Horizon Edition, a special variant of its ET9 executive flagship sedan, as it seeks to strengthen its presence in China’s ultra-luxury electric vehicle segment.
