Onvo, a sub-brand of Nio, said on Weibo it has delivered its 20,000th L90 just two months after the launch of the large SUV. The milestone highlights Nio’s efforts to broaden its market reach in China’s competitive electric vehicle sector.
The Onvo L90 was officially launched on July 31, with deliveries beginning the following day. In August alone, the model delivered 10,575 units, accounting for nearly 34 percent of Nio’s total monthly deliveries of 31,305 vehicles.

Equipped with an 85-kWh battery pack, the L90 carries a starting price of RMB 265,800 ($37,000) including the battery. Under the company’s battery-as-a-service (BaaS) plan, the model starts at RMB 179,800, with a monthly battery rental fee of RMB 899.
Earlier this month, Onvo introduced the updated L60, the brand’s first model, with deliveries scheduled to begin in mid-to-late October. The expansion of its lineup underlines Onvo’s role in strengthening Nio’s portfolio in China.

Separately, Nio’s premium compact car brand Firefly said on Weibo it crossed the 20,000-delivery mark on September 27, five months after its market debut. Firefly has delivered 5,445 vehicles so far this month, putting it on track for a new record in September.
