Nio has expanded the European presence of its Firefly brand, beginning customer deliveries in Denmark and Greece following earlier launches in Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria.
The company announced the milestone on 10 December via its social media channels, marking the latest step in its phased rollout across the region.

In Denmark, the Firefly is priced from 209,900 DKK (about €28,100), while in Greece, the compact EV starts at €31,900. The model is currently offered only with a purchased battery in both countries, as Firefly’s Battery-as-a-Service model has not yet been deployed in Europe.
Existing Nio Power Swap Stations are configured for 75 kWh and 100 kWh battery sizes used in the brand’s larger vehicles, whereas the Firefly employs a 42.1 kWh LFP pack. In China, where upgraded swap stations are already available, the vehicle has been on sale since late April.

Measuring around four metres in length, the Firefly delivers a WLTP range of 330 kilometres with its 42.1 kWh battery, extending to 470 kilometres in the WLTP City cycle. The battery supports DC fast charging at up to 100 kW, enabling a 10–80 percent charge in about 29 minutes.
Pricing elsewhere in Europe varies: in Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands, the model starts at €29,990, while reservations and test drives are now open in Portugal. In Norway, list prices begin at 279,900 NOK (roughly €23,700), with lower pricing influenced by local tax incentives and the absence of EU import tariffs on EVs built in China.
