Engwe showcased its newest model, the E26 fat-tire electric bike, at EICMA 2023, formerly known as the Milan Motorcycle Show. Initially introduced in two variants for the international and EU markets, the E26 took center stage at the event.
The Engwe E26 boasts a 750W electric motor delivering a top speed of 45km/h and a maximum torque of 70Nm for its international version. Meanwhile, the EU variant is equipped with a 250W motor, maintaining the same torque but with a lower top speed of 25km/h. The electric bike features a riding range of approximately 140km, attributed to its 48V 16Ah battery, which can be fully recharged in six hours. The E26 is available in both step-over and step-through frame designs, offering color choices of Bumblebee Yellow, Onyx Black, and Gem Blue.
Enhancing rider comfort, the Engwe E26 comes equipped with a dual suspension system and hydraulic disc brakes for efficient stopping. It includes a Shimano 7-speed gearbox and a color LCD display for added functionality. The bike’s rear rack has a capacity of 25kg, while the overall weight of the bike stands at 43kg.
Currently, the Engwe E26 fat-tire e-bike is available at a discounted price of $1,149, catering to both the EU and international markets.
