Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker Neta Auto reported strong overseas sales growth in 2024, with nearly 30,000 cars sold across key international markets. The company also expanded its global reach, growing its sales channels to 184 in regions such as Southeast Asia, Central, and South America.
Neta recently held its second overseas dealer conference, where investors and dealers from over 40 countries gathered to discuss the companyās international expansion plans. Looking ahead to 2025, Neta aims to double its overseas sales and increase brand recognition, focusing on localized management and production to improve user satisfaction and appeal to global consumers.
A highlight of Neta’s international efforts is the Neta X, which launched in overseas markets in 2024. The model has already been introduced in nearly 10 countries, achieving notable success in Thailand, where it topped the monthly insurance registrations for pure electric SUVs for two consecutive months.
To meet growing international demand, Netaās plant in Nanning, Guangxi province, continues to produce models such as the Neta Aya and Neta X for export. Despite previous financial challenges and mass layoffs in late 2024, the company has secured support through a strategic partnership with Guangxi’s Nanning Industrial Investment Group. This collaboration is expected to help Neta streamline its supply chain, enhance production and logistics, and further expand its presence in international markets.
