EV charging platform Monta has launched an AI-powered Network Operation Centre (NOC) Agent designed to streamline operations and enhance reliability across charging networks, the company said on Friday.
The technology, deployed across Monta’s platform, uses data from 220,000 connected charge points and millions of monthly charging sessions to automatically diagnose faults and suggest corrective actions. The AI agent significantly reduces the time required for troubleshooting, converting hours of manual investigation into seconds.
“Troubleshooting used to mean long nights with engineers digging through endless logs,” said Casper Rasmussen, CEO and Co-Founder of Monta. “With the NOC Agent, those hours turn into seconds. It’s not just about fixing chargers faster—it’s about redefining what operational excellence looks like in EV charging.”
The system has already shown results in the field. Monta cited a case in the U.S. where a DC charger’s success rate improved from 31.2% to 98.3% within 25 seconds after using the agent to identify a firmware mismatch.
Monta said its AI models continuously learn from charging sessions, firmware updates, and user interactions, allowing operators to manage large networks with smaller teams and shift focus toward strategic initiatives.
“Every industry has its inflection point where automation moves from optional to essential. In EV charging, that moment is now,” Rasmussen added.
