Mitsubishi Motors Corporation will reveal two electric concept cars at the Tokyo Auto Salon automotive exhibition which will be held at Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Tokyo, Japan, January 14-16, 2022. The two concept models that will be introduced are the tiny kei EV car and the Ralliart racing car.
In an official statement, Mitsubishi calls the Kei EV concept a new generation of battery electric cars with Mitsubishi Motors-ness. This model is built on the basis of safety, security and comfort, as well as being environmentally friendly.
This concept model combines easy handling and compact size (kei car). The Japanese manufacturer also claims that the performance of this electric car will be smooth and powerful, while offering advanced driver assistance systems and connectivity.
The Kei EV production model will go on sale in Japan in early fiscal year 2022 (from April 2022 to March 2023).
Meanwhile, the Ralliart concept car unites Mitsubishi Motors’ engineering and passion for the Monozukuri (workmanship) challenge. This concept model seems to want to emphasize the company’s desire and vision for the new Ralliart.
