Mitsubishi Airtrek EV launched for Chinese market, range of up to 520 miles

Mitsubishi’s plan to release an electric car to compete with other manufacturers has finally been answered. Now, the Japanese brand has officially released the Mitsubishi Airtrek, which carries the crossover SUV model.

This can be seen through his face which is equipped with the Dynamic Shield design as the identity of the current Mitsubishi family. Speaking of dimensions, the Mitsubishi Airtrek is equipped with a length of 4,360 mm, a width of 1,920 mm and a height of 1,728 mm. And, the wheelbase is quite capable with a figure of 2,830 mm.

From the pacemaker sector, the Mitsubishi Airtrek has quite capable power. On paper, based on the manufacturer’s information, this model is capable of producing 224 hp and 350 Nm of peak torque. All the power is channeled to the front wheels.

As an option to consumers, the company has also provided two battery options that can be selected as desired.

First, they offer a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 71.8 kWh with a range of 500 kilometers. To do fast charging up to 80 percent, this battery takes less than 1 hour.

While the second battery option is a ternary lithium battery with a capacity of 69.9 kWh with a range of 520 km. As for the fast charging feature, it takes more than 1 hour to reach 80 percent.
