Pre-orders for the MG4 Electric have been opened for consumers in the European market. According to the company, the first 1,000 orders of the MG4 Electric confirming the purchase are guaranteed to be delivered before the end of 2022.
At the end of June, the company gave details about the MG4 Electric compact electric car for the European market, and a few days ago also revealed the price for the UK market. The MG4 Electric for the UK market starts at 25,995 pounds or around 30,800 euros. The variant that uses a 64 kWh battery costs at least 28,495 pounds or about 33,860 euros.
As mentioned at the beginning of the article, the first 1,000 mounts of the MG4 Electric will ship this year. However, the press release did not provide details on when and at what price binding orders would be possible.
The product page offers two battery options and seven paint colors. Meanwhile a pre-production model camouflaged in black and white is currently undergoing tests to cover the final 120,000 kilometers across Europe.
The MG4 Electric itself is built on a new platform called the “Modular Scalable Platform” or MSP. Unlike the MG5 Electric or ZS EV, for example, the later MG4 did not have a version with an internal combustion engine.
