Mercedes-Benz has begun accepting orders across Europe for the new CLA hybrid lineup, combining a reengineered 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system and the latest MB.OS-powered user interface. Prices in Germany start at €46,243 for the CLA 180.
The new CLA range launches with three variants — CLA 180, CLA 200, and CLA 220 — with the latter two also available in 4MATIC all-wheel drive. Each version pairs a 1.5-liter Miller-cycle four-cylinder engine with a 22 kW electric motor integrated into an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The hybrid setup delivers up to 211 hp and 380 Nm of torque, while the CLA 180 achieves combined fuel consumption as low as 4.9 liters per 100 km under WLTP testing, making it the brand’s most efficient internal combustion model in this segment.
Mercedes-Benz says the new 8F-eDCT gearbox allows recuperation in all eight gears and supports brief all-electric driving, coasting, and start-stop functions. The system’s 1.3 kWh battery enables “electric sailing” up to around 100 km/h, while the 48-volt electric compressor powers cabin functions even when the combustion engine is inactive.
Inside, the CLA introduces the next generation of the MBUX infotainment system running on Mercedes-Benz’s proprietary MB.OS platform. The updated interface integrates AI functions from Microsoft and Google, featuring Google-based navigation, enhanced visualization, and over-the-air (OTA) update capability. Optional equipment includes the MBUX Superscreen — a panoramic digital display setup combining three screens across the dashboard — and a revised steering wheel with roller controls based on customer feedback.

Exterior updates include new star-pattern LED headlights with a connecting light band and redesigned taillights, available with AMG Line and AMG Line Plus styling packages. Customers can further personalize their vehicles with equipment packages such as Advanced Plus, Premium, and Premium Plus, which add digital, comfort, and safety upgrades including a Burmester® 3D audio system and head-up display.
In Germany, pricing for the CLA hybrid range starts at €46,243 for the CLA 180, rising to €54,228 for the CLA 220 4MATIC. European deliveries are set to begin in the coming months.
