Commercial vehicles based on electric power sources are the best choice for business delivery service providers. This was immediately responded by Mercedes-Benz Vans by preparing a New Mercedes-Benz eVito armed with a larger battery capacity.

Mercedes-Benz Vans claims that the current eVito for a single battery charge can reach 242-314 km based on the standard Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP).

Now the Lithium-ion battery is 70% larger in capacity than its predecessors such as those used by the Mercedes?Benz eVito Tourer. This panel van has a 60 kWh battery capacity and can be ordered in early December.

The motor keeps rotating the front wheels which is claimed to have the equivalent power of 116 hp and 360 Nm of torque. This eVito panel van already uses a water-cooled AC on board charger with a maximum charging capacity of 11 kW. Using that voltage, recharging the battery takes up to 6.5 hours for 0-100%.

This latest model has also used the CCS charging socket located on the left side of the front bumper. It can also do DC fast charging using 50 kW and 80 kW voltages. 10-80% battery recharging time only takes a range of 50 to 35 minutes.

The electric motor that drives the eVito can also be used as battery energy recovery thanks to the implementation of smart operations. The rider can change the energy of motion through the lever behind the steering wheel, which is believed to still make the driver comfortable with DAuto drive.

The placement of the battery on the floor is made flat so that it can load up to 6,600 liters of goods. Of course, the relief of the cabin allows various fields of business to rely on, especially for shipping. The vehicle length options can be selected starting from 5,140 mm and the longest option is 5,370 mm.

The allowed weight for the Long type is 888 kg and for the Extra-long it is only 853 kg. The speed of the car on the standard freeway is 80 kph, but can be chosen to be faster, namely 100-120 kph.

Stay dashing thanks to the use of 17-inch rims. Oh yes, protection while driving the Mercedes-Benz Vans has equipped the eVito with active Brake Assist, Attention Assist and Headlight Assist.
