Malaguti reveals XAM electric motorcycle concept at EICMA 2022

Italian manufacturer Malaguti kicked off the EICMA 2022 exhibition with an update to its entire lineup, and the launch of a new electric concept motorcycle.

Four years since Malaguti was bought by Austria-based KSR Group, the growth of the Italian brand looks set to continue in the years to come. Especially with the presence of the XAM concept electric motorbike, in the form of a future trail bike that was revealed at the event.

Reporting from Visor Down (14/11/2022), the XAM concept motorbike is the first breakthrough in electric-based mobility for Malaguti. The XAM is aimed strictly at the offroad market.

However, details about its specifications are still kept secret. Even so, Malaguti ensures that this motorbike will be aimed at younger consumers. One of them is because the XAM electric motor weighs no more than 70 kg.

Then, it is not clear when XAM will arrive, or what the selling price will be. However, Malaguti said, this motorbike is expected to be able to bridge the distance from bicycles to motorbikes.

In addition, Malaguti also updated the color of the small cc sport motorbike Drakon 125 with the colors “Neve White” and “Spirito Grey”.

Also included are the XSM and XTM 125 off-road bikes that get new exhausts, new seats and ABS that are present for the new model year. Both are also equipped with full LED lighting and daytime running lights.

Finally, Malaguti will also launch the facelifted Madison 125 scooter. You could say Madison is the first scooter developed by Malaguti called GPX in Thailand.

Later, the 2023 Malaguti Madison 125 will be equipped with a choice of colors “Neve White”, “Toro Black”, and “Albero Green”.
