Lucid Motors has launched the online configurator for its latest model, the all-electric Gravity SUV, allowing prospective buyers to explore its features and customize their orders. Available initially in the Grand Touring trim, the luxury SUV starts at $94,900, with fully-loaded configurations reaching up to $126,500.

The Gravity is Lucid’s second vehicle, following the Air sedan, and is designed with both performance and versatility in mind. The SUV boasts over 440 miles of range per charge, 828 horsepower, and up to 120 cubic feet of cargo space, depending on the selected seating layout. Lucid also highlights the Gravity’s capacity to comfortably seat seven adults, offering significant space for passengers and luggage.

While the configurator currently includes only the Grand Touring trim, Lucid plans to introduce a more affordable base model, the Touring trim, expected to start around $79,900 and available for order in late 2025. No official delivery timeline for the Gravity SUV has been provided yet.

Lucid’s Gravity enters a competitive market segment, taking on premium all-electric SUVs like Tesla’s Model X and Rivian’s R1S. At its starting price, the Gravity Grand Touring undercuts the Model X Plaid ($94,990) and Rivian’s Gen 2 R1S Tri ($105,900). However, industry observers have pointed out that while the Gravity emphasizes luxury and range, some standard features in other EVs, such as lane-centering, are only available through optional packages.

As anticipation builds, the Gravity has garnered attention among EV enthusiasts, with mixed reactions regarding its feature set and pricing.
