Harley-Davidson has just officially launched the LiveWire S2 Del Mar electric motorcycle. This electric vehicle is the first Harley model from the EV brand to use the S2 Arrow platform.
The S2 Arrow platform is a modular platform built specifically for Harley-Davidson’s LiveWire brand electric motorcycle. The platform comes with a locally developed battery pack, electric motor, charging and control system. The platform is also equipped with a fully integrated chassis and powertrain, producing up to 80 HP.
LiveWire S2 Del Mar will be present as a limited edition model which is also in limited production. This electric motor will only be produced 100 units worldwide.
The LiveWire S2 Del Mar comes in an exclusive Jasper Gray or Comet Indigo finish, along with a unique 19-inch wheel design. Harley-Davidson claims the colors were hand-painted and the graphics took five days to complete.
This electric motorcycle comes with a powerful power-to-weight ratio that produces acceleration from 0 to 96 km per hour in just 3.5 seconds. S2 Del Mar can accelerate with a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
Speaking of design, this motorbike is specially designed for urban riders. The features presented include high-mounted handlebars, a trimmed flyscreen, and a tapered tail.
