Li Auto has unveiled updated versions of its Li L6 SUV and Li Mega MPV at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, with improvements in smart-driving technology but no change in the starting prices. The company has commenced pre-sales for both models, focusing on enhanced autonomous driving features and additional options for customers.
The updated Li L6 extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) is available in two variants: the Pro and Max models. The starting prices for these variants remain the same as the previous versions, with the Pro priced at RMB 249,800 ($34,240) and the Max at RMB 279,800.

A key upgrade for the Li L6 is the inclusion of LiDAR as a standard feature, which was previously only available on the higher-priced Max variant. The Pro version is equipped with Horizon Robotics’ Journey 6M smart driving chip, while the Max variant comes with the Nvidia Thor-U chip.

Li Auto has also launched the Li Mega MPV, with the updated Li Mega Ultra starting at RMB 529,800, consistent with its previous pricing. The company has introduced a special edition, the Li Mega Home, which offers additional luxury features, including rotatable zero-gravity seats in the second row and silent electric doors for the first row. The Li Mega Home is priced at RMB 559,800. Li Auto also announced a paid upgrade option for owners of the 2024 Li Mega Ultra, allowing them to install the same zero-gravity seats as the Li Mega Home.

Li Auto started accepting pre-orders for the updated Li L6 and Li Mega models on May 1. Firm orders for the Li L6 will be taken starting May 8, while deliveries of the Li Mega will begin later this month. The Li Mega, which was originally launched as a battery electric vehicle (BEV) on March 1, 2024, had its price reduced by RMB 30,000 in May, following disappointing sales performance.
