Li Auto has set a sales target of 700,000 vehicles for 2025, representing a 40% increase from last year’s 500,508 deliveries, Chinese financial news outlet 21jingji reported, citing multiple independent sources.
The company remains cautious about the sales outlook for its new battery electric vehicle (BEV) models launching this year, with a modest full-year target of 50,000 units, according to an insider. However, Li Auto has provided suppliers with a higher projection, expecting BEVs to account for over 20% of total sales—translating to more than 140,000 units.

“This is understandable because it wants to lock in supply chain orders in advance,” a source close to Li Auto’s supply chain told 21jingji, adding that ensuring an adequate parts supply remains critical.
Based on Li Auto’s internal expectations and supplier guidance, sales of its extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) models are projected to range between 560,000 and 650,000 units, implying monthly deliveries of 46,700 to 54,100.

Li Auto’s lineup includes the Li Mega MPV, its sole BEV model, alongside EREV SUVs such as the Li L9, Li L8, Li L7, and Li L6. The company plans to expand its BEV portfolio with the launch of its first pure electric SUV, the Li i8, in July, followed by the Li i6 in the second half of the year.
The rollout of the Li i8 and Li i6 mirrors the launch strategy of the Li L9 and Li L8 in 2022, aimed at boosting second-half sales and accumulating orders for early 2026, Li Auto’s management said during a March 14 earnings call.
